International arbitration is a competitive and unique field of law, where talented and ambitious practitioners from around the globe converge. It offers, like no other field of law, an exciting career abroad, intercultural team work and exchange of knowledge and ideas between practitioners with the most various backgrounds and legal traditions. But how can young lawyers enter into the world of international arbitration?

In an interactive panel with experienced practitioners and academics, attendees will be able to discuss and learn how to start a career in international arbitration. The event will take place in Vienna, in connection with the Vis Moot, an international competition where young talented law students from around the world display they legal skills on international commercial arbitration law.

The panel is composed of Patricia Shaughnessy (Stockholm University, SCC), Christian Koller (University of Vienna), Crina Baltag (Kluwer Arbitration Blog Associate Editor and ICAL alumna), James Hosking (Chaffetz Lindsey, New York), Christoph Harler (WilmerHale, Frankfurt) and moderated by ICAL alumnae Carolina Morandí (AmCham) and Bianca Kremer (Mannheimer Swartling, Stockholm) and also by Elis Wendpap (Lefosse Advogados, Inovarb-AmCham).

The event is free of charge and has been jointly organized by Inovarb and Young Austrian Arbitration Practitioners (YAAP), with ICAL AA as media partner. The event is generously sponsored by LESTE.
